MeeT Dr.Paolino

Dr. Christopher Paolino is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with expertise in third molar extraction, implant placement, facial trauma, and corrective jaw surgery. He served as Chief Resident at Christiana Care Health System Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, were he excelled in head and neck oncologic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and implant surgery including zygomatic implants.
In practice he has special interest in corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma and complex implant surgery. When performing major surgical cases, Dr. Paolino utilizes Virtual Surgical Planning and Patient Specific Implants. While formally trained in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Paolino prioritizes the overall health and wellness of his patients.
Dr. Paolino offers in-office IV Sedation for patient comfort, and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is fully credentialed with operating room and admitting privileges at Main Line Health System, Christiana Care Health System, and Brinton Lake Surgery Center. Dr. Paolino also provides surgical care within the Department of Plastic Surgery at Nemours Children’s Hospital as needed. Dr. Paolino strongly believes in the value of education and prioritizes patient safety. For this reason, on a scheduled basis he volunteers his time to teach the residents at Christiana Care.
When not treating patients or teaching, Dr. Paolino enjoys time with his growing family. His hobbies include martial arts, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
